Championing change as the Women of Winslow Ambassador

Winslow is future-focused on supporting our women and we believe that “you can’t be what you can’t see”.

During Women in Construction Week, Winslow is highlighting the continuing enrichments of our Women of Winslow (WoW) initiative.

Our ongoing Women of Winslow initiative supports site-based females across the Group through upskilling our current female site leaders.

We have further enhanced the program through the development of a newly created role being the Women of Winslow Ambassador. The position plays a leading part in continuing to foster an inclusive, supportive, and connected environment for women working across our civil construction sites and offices nationally.

The role exists to ensure our female employees continue to feel valued, empowered, and integrated within the wider business by creating meaningful opportunities for conversation, learning, and support.

The Ambassador champions initiatives that build strong internal networks, increase understanding of the business, and support women in making confident career and development choices.

We are delighted that our Project Manager Kelly-Marie, will be our first Women of Winslow Ambassador. She is motivated to inspire and support fellow female colleagues by her passion for encouraging women, particularly in male-dominated fields. Significantly she is a senior leader based on site.

In a few short months, our new Ambassador has already introduced innovative ideas to enhance and expand the WoW initiative and mentoring program, and engaging with women across the Group, including South Australia, Northern NSW and Queensland.

The opportunity is here for all of us. Together, we can create meaningful change for women in construction – for today and for the future.

It’s the Winslow way.
