Winslow delivered a major civil works package for a 171MW solar farm, including construction of internal and external access roads, bulk earthworks (~100,000m³), drainage, culverts, and electrical crossings. The project also included upgrades to the Calder Highway intersection and local roads, delivered in a remote environment under extreme heat with stringent Level 1 QA controls.

Key Achievements

  • Delivered 9km of internal roads; Completed 192ha of earthworks without delays; achieved LTIFR = 0; Enabled early access for solar component delivery; successfully managed remote logistics and extreme heat.
  • Subgrade stabilisation, redesign of road alignments, advanced logistics planning, high-volume earthworks using K-Tec equipment, and rigorous Level 1 QA testing.
