Winslow helping transform former Ford site
Winslow Infrastructure is proud to be involved in revitalising the historic former Ford Australia manufacturing site to construct ASSEMBLY, which will provide business and employment opportunities in Melbourne's north.
The official construction launch of ASSEMBLY was held this week at Campbellfield, which will transform the historical industrial site into a mixed use precinct.
Winslow’s construction partners Citinova and Pelligra, were joined by key government representatives to celebrate the start of construction on the 60-hectare development in Melbourne’s northern industrial corridor.
Hume City Council Mayor, Cr Carly Moore, Member for Broadmeadows Kathleen Matthews-Ward, and Federal Member for Calwell Basem Abdo, recognising the importance of revitalising a site that has played a central role in Victoria’s manufacturing legacy.
Winslow is remediating the land and all civil construction of the former Ford assembly plant that produced vehicles for over 50 years before closing in 2016.
